Merrill
& Ring provides a full range of services regarding
the purchase and sale of logs for both export and
domestic markets. Our staff is interested in buying all
quantities and species of logs in the US Northwest and
British Columbia. We will purchase logs delivered to our
port sites, or we can assist the landowner in permitting,
harvest, and transport of
logs.
Merrill & Ring also provides diversified services to land owners through marketing agreements where we manage the permitting, harvesting, log marketing, cash flow, accounting, and reporting on behalf of our client. In some cases, Merrill & Ring will provide the financing for the project as well.
Merrill & Ring will buy forestland through outright purchase or through joint ventures and cooperative agreements. Our services also include appraisal, investment analysis and brokerage of forestland.
